LaLa, a host from MTV, was cheering on her fiance, Denver Nugget Carmelo Anthony, in the Nuggets Mavericks playoff game when everything went wrong. LaLa says the fans started shit when Maverick fans called her and her son racial slurs. The fans say that she was talking shit about the Mavs and the fans reacted back. Some others claim dancing fans bumped into LaLa and she went bizerk. Who's telling the truth? What's fucked up is, why is she the only one being escorted out? This all happened last Monday night.
LaLa released a statement saying:
"Obviously the play-off games bring out the best and the worst in fans but what happened on Monday night with the racial slurs/threats, verbal attacks on my son and physical attacks to myself by irate fans was unacceptable. The fans were totally out of control. What the cameras captured was me defending myself and didn't show the abuse that was taking place."
