Isiah Thomas will be the new coach for Florida International University if he agree's to donate his first year's salary to the school's athletic department. According to FIU athletic director Pete Garcia, Thomas without hesitation agreed to the conditions after he learned about all the layoffs and budget cuts the school was facing, he told the university president that the school should keep his salary. Isaiah is still owed over $12 million dollars from his contract with the Knicks.
